Transparency Model Specification Sheet

Stainless melded with bronze-aged copper, round wire melded with flat, the SZ-4 wire mesh pattern uses modern technology to create a unique weave that changes with the viewer’s angle. Available with other metal choices as well, this very strong, multipurpose fabric is an excellent choice for canopies, divider screens and railing infill panels. Bring your next project to Banker Wire, the worldwide leader in wire mesh, and we’ll help you create something extraordinary.

The SZ-4 can either be woven as a mixed metal weave or in all stainless.  When mixing alloys, the flat wire (Warp) must remain stainless and round wire can be either Copper, Bronze, or Brass.

Product photography not to scale. Please download the woven wire spec sheet for more accurate size representation. Always confirm measurements with a physical sample. All weight measurements are based on the specific density of mild (plain) steel. For conversion information, please refer to the Weights and Conversions section of our Woven Wire Basics Page or, contact us. It should be noted that architectural fabrics produced from very smooth, diamond drawn wires will, at times, exhibit striations of varying degrees of light and dark. These are not defects, but rather, part of the natural beauty of the material. Maximum dimensions may change based on alloy selection. Please contact us for additional details.
