Far from the shine and reflective characteristics of a stainless steel wire mesh look typically found in a modern urban scene, is a home remodel project in lake country Wisconsin. Restoration was the theme and a 3" square opening wire mesh fit the bill. The large .250" diameter wire was crimped and then woven into an intercrimp pattern to create a texture for this living space that no other material can achieve. The wire mesh railing infill panels were fabricated in a strong 13 gauge U-Edge frame, and by leaving the corners untouched after welding, these panels have the overall desired look the homeowner was after.
