The Delano Las Vegas is the luxury all-suite hotel portion of Mandalay Bay on the Las Vegas Strip, with the slogan of sophisticated design and serenity. Originally opened as THEhotel at Mandalay Bay in 2003, the property was rebranded Delano Las Vegas in 2014 following a partnership between MGM Resorts International and Morgans Hotel Group. One of the prominent features of the decor is the use of Banker Wire's S-16 Woven Wire Mesh Pattern in bronze as part of a decorative space divider. The bronze decorative wire mesh coordinates with the warm modern aesthetic of the hotel. The S-16 pattern allows for transparency between the two spaces while providing the hotel a sense of closure between the two areas when desired. They subtly separate the space without obstructing light, allowing for an open feeling. The mesh's metallic finish gives great contrast with other softer, more organic materials, which creates harmony in the look.
